PVD is an alternative to conventional electroplating and offers several advantages. It offers a functional and economical method of coating materials such as stainless steel. Additionally, PVD coatings are considered to be environmentally safe. Unlike traditional electroplating, PVD does not involve hazardous materials and does not produce hazardous waste, making it a more sustainable choice.
